Feb 29 – Since emerging onto the Sydney comedy scene almost a decade ago as one of the hottest young prospects, tonight’s headliner Daniel Townes has rapidly made his name as one of the country’s best and most sought comedians. With his laidback style of stand-up, Townes has won over audiences worldwide, having performed in Singapore, Germany, Spain, Ireland, South Africa, Canada, Holland, and all over the UK. In Australia, he’s worked everywhere from Mildura to Broken Hill and Griffith to Wodonga.  As well as being a regular at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Sydney Comedy Festival, he has also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the prestigious invite-only Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, the latter  aspired to by the whole industry. MC for the evening is Victorian Nick Cody while Sarah Furtner, all the way from WA, is the support act. Quest for the Best lineup is:
