BOOHOO FILMS presents INDEPENDENT CINEMA

BooHoo films began in 2006 with a goal to provide opportunties and regular
screening events for filmmakers.
In 2008 BooHoo films Short Film Competiton commenced, unlike most short film

festivals BooHoo screens all year round. There are two competitions
throughout the year, with three heats and a final for each competition.
Audience voting determines the finalist with an industry panel selecting the

overall winner. Great fun and prizes are up for grabs plus the highly sort
after BooHoo trophy. In 2010 we begin with Heat 1 on Monday 19 April and we
are looking forward to a great year at our funky new home at The Roxbury
